A family photo book app that starts with the story
Most photo book apps hand you a blank grid and a folder of ten thousand camera roll photos. Dear Ones starts from the other end: the memories you already saved, in order, with the words that go with them.
The book builds itself from your timeline
In Dear Ones, you save memories as they happen: the funny thing she said at dinner, the first lost tooth, the photo from the lake, a voice note, a letter for someday. Each one lands on a timeline, one for the family and one for each child.
When you're ready for a printed book, you don't start from scratch. Pick a timeline or an album, and Dear Ones lays out the pages for you as a first draft, in order, photos and words together. The stories are already written, because you wrote them when they happened.
Shape it like you mean it
From there the book is yours to shape. Arrange the pages, place your captions where you want them, add written pages for the stories behind the pictures, and choose your cover. It's the difference between a photo dump and a book your kids will actually sit down and read.
Softcover, hardcover, or layflat
When it's right, order it in the app. Choose softcover, hardcover, or layflat binding, order a copy for your shelf and more for the grandparents, and reorder any book later without rebuilding it. Pricing depends on binding and page count, and you see it before you pay. Books ship in the United States.
Why the words matter
A photo book tells you what they looked like. A family book tells you who they were: what they said, the way they said it, and what the day actually felt like. Dear Ones captures quotes, milestones, voice notes, and letters alongside the photos, so the printed book carries the whole story, not just the pictures.
And until the book is in your hands, everything stays private. Your memories live on your phone and back up to your own iCloud, where we can't read them. No feed, no ads, no strangers.
